MIDDLETOWN - It was a great day for football, the rain that was expected stayed away and the sun was shining on the Southern Ohio Wolfpack, Columbus War Eagles, Tri-State Sharks, and the Miami Valley Blackouts as they all played in a football jamboree. Each team played 20 minute mini games against each other and really got a lot of work put in.

Sharks owner Justin Isaacs picked up right where he last season in the Mid-Ohio Football League by running through defenses and scoring like he did against the Blackouts. But Justin wasn't the only Isaacs that was looking good for the sharks as Barry Isaacs continues to run past secondary's for long scores just as he did in March in the Cincinnati 7 on 7 jamboree in Miami Town Ohio. The two Isaacs brother should make Sharks fans pretty excited about their 2009 season.

Dustin Rucker from the Miami Valley Blackouts showed up with the smallest team of the four but may have had the most heart! They kept each other excited on the sidelines even after something may have gone bad on the field. Middle Linebacker Dallas Cook and safety Demetrius Mitchell lead a feisty defense that proved time and time again that they could get the big turnover when they needed it the most. The offense is led by running back Kyle Howe who punished would be tacklers all day long.

Owner Keith Russ and the War Eagles were the only team that was really able to play with the Sharks keeping the score to a 0-0 tie. The War Eagles looked sharp and ready for their 2009 kickoff, Rock Johnson and the young Wolfpack are going to be looking to catch someone off guard in 2009 and upset some teams.

All in all it was a great clean day for football, and all the teams involved should be proud of what they accomplished!
