Semi-Pro Football in Cincinnati can be dated back to the 1920's, but really started to pick up when the soldiers and sailors returned from World War II in the mid forties.

The history of Cincinnati semi-pro football can be dated back to the 1920's in Middletown with the ARMCO Blues (now AK Steel). That's right AK Steel had one of the first semi-pro football teams in Cincinnati!
